Dr Allen Miao

Allen loves that as a dentist he can genuinely change someone’s life in a positive and meaningful way. In particular, he loves that he can show patients that coming to the dentist can in fact be a pleasant and fun experience.

Allen graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science and has spent time working in metropolitan and rural practices where he’s honed his chairside manner to perfection. Now, Allen is part of the Jacaranda Family and we couldn’t be happier to have him on board.

When Allen’s not working on your strong, healthy teeth you’ll often find him with a racket in hand playing either table tennis or tennis. And if he’s not playing sport of a weekend he’s often going on a hike or meal prepping for the week ahead. Allen has a lot of interesting hobbies including photography and he’s a bit of nerd when it comes to country flags!

Allen loves travelling and exploring new places, but Japan has been a definite favourite of his. He says that the food, culture, people and scenery are all amazing. His travel goals include a big trip to cool down, as he’d like to visit Iceland one day and see the Northern Lights. Until then, you can find Allen relaxing at home, catching up on TV or planning his next trip.
